Hello there, my name is Jarek and I suffer from muscle atrophy which makes my muscle become weaker and weaker and I have been in a wheelchair since the age of 7.
I never went to school in my childhood, only after middle school I came to the Special Education Centre for Physically Disabled Persons in Police with my brother, owing to the foundation “Winda do pracy” (“Lift to work”). And this is where my life started :), which does not mean that I was dead before, but my world consisted of the four walls, a TV set and a computer. I spent 6 years in Police but I graduated from a post-secondary vocational school (specialization: administration technician) on 10 June 2011 and I came back “home” where my life reminds of a series of almost identical black and white photos.
I don’t want to lose the colour, my friends and active life among people and places which make your life become life so, together with my brother, we have decided to raise money to buy a flat to stay in Police for ever 🙂
