Sport is all types of usually competitive exercise which, through casual or organised participation, try to use, maintain or strengthen real ability and skills while giving entertainment to participants, and in some cases, spectators. Hundreds of sports exist, from those requiring only two participants, to those with a huge selection of simultaneous participants, either in groups or competing as folks.
Sport is normally recognised as exercises which are located in physical athleticism or real dexterity, with the biggest major competitions such as Olympic Games admitting solely sports meeting this definition, along with other organisations such as Council of Europe working with definitions precluding activities with out a physical ingredient from classification as sports. However, many competitive, but nonphysical, exercises claim recognition as imagination sports. The International Olympic Committee recognises both chess and bridge as real sports, and SportAccord, the international sports federation association, recognises five non-physical sports, although limits the volume of mind games and this can be admitted as sports.
